The Global Network Initiative (GNI) welcomes Dr. Courtney Radsch in her independent capacity as a member of the GNI academic constituency.
Dr. Radsch is a journalist, scholar, and practitioner working at the nexus of technology, media, and policy. She serves on the masthead of Tech Policy Press, as outreach chair of the GigaNet network of Internet governance scholars, and as a fellow at the Center for Media, Data and Society. Dr Radsch was appointed to the UN Internet Governance Forum Multistakeholder Advisory Group for 2021.
“As former Advocacy and Communications Director at GNI member Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) for seven years and now working independently on technology policy and media sustainability, I look forward to engaging with the GNI community now as an academic member,” said Dr. Radsch.
“GNI has benefitted from Dr. Radsch’s valuable contributions to GNI over the years and we are delighted that she will continue to support our work now as an independent academic expert,” said GNI Executive Director, Judith Lichtenberg.
