OCF is a Taiwan-based nonprofit organization founded in 2014 by open-source communities dedicated to advancing open technology (including open source, open data, and open government) as a foundation for digital rights, internet freedom. OCF connects civil society, technical communities, government, academia, and the private sector through policy advocacy, research, capacity building, and multistakeholder dialogue. By combining technical expertise with civil society perspectives, OCF promotes transparent, accountable, and rights-respecting technology and public policy in Taiwan and across the Indo-Pacific.
